Hello, my name is Mike Currie. I want to say thank you for taking the time to check out my company. I am a state certified electrical contractor. We are fully licensed, bonded and insured, copies of which are available. We are a full service electrical contractor. We perform all aspects of electrical work from simple repairs such as replacing a switch in your home to the complete wiring of your 3 story commercial building and everything in between. We can upgrade your home electrical circuit breaker panel to 200 amps and replace a commercial 2000 amp service. One of our specialties is troubleshooting electrical problems whether at your home (for example, a 120 volt circuit breaker tripping and won't reset) to intermittent power loss in high voltage applications (277/480 volts in commercial and industrial complexes).
By being very well trained in electrical theory and possessing street smarts, my men are able to think outside the box and can usually troubleshoot, diagnose and make repairs in an extremely timely manner, keeping costs to a minimum. We believe in building a relationship of trust and complete confidence with all our clients and customers. I want to be your only electrician whenever you need one.
I would like to tell you about my employees, as without them I would not be in business since 1995. I am very proud of my employees and believe that we have some of the best training service techs on the Sun Coast. All the employees, including myself, are a team. We all look out for each other inside and outside of work. Being that Mike Currie Electric, Inc. is owned by my wife Pat and I, we are a family oriented business and believe in civic duty and understand what being professional, responsible and respectful of others means. At Mike Currie Electric, Inc. we always try to make the customer feel that they are also part of the team.
All our employees wear company uniforms complete with nametags and drive company trucks. They are all paid hourly. We do not use subcontractors or do piece work. Besides myself, we have a state licensed journeyman on staff and several of our employees are attending a 4-year journeyman program.
I was taught at a young age that if you are going to do something you should do it well enough to stake your name on it. That is why I named my company Mike Currie Electric and why my name is all over my trucks. I also give every customer my cell phone number so they can speak directly to me if any problems arise.
